Solstice Sweater Shuffle - NAOC/JTRR

Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025

Join us for the second Solstice Sweater Shuffle on December 20th at 10am!!! There are two distances to choose from, 5k or 1 mile. All are welcome, and sweaters are encouraged! Race starts at the Log Cabin at Sandy Beach (Savikko Park). Please note that this is a location change from last year's event.

Please consider bringing a canned food item(s) or other non-perishable food to be donated to the Juneau Food Bank.

Both distances begin and end at the Savikko Log Shelter. This is part of the NAOC series.

The 1mile route goes out Savikko Rd, turns right on Front St and turns around near the D St intersection.

The 5k begins with a loop through the Treadwell Mine trails out to the Treadwell Office Building and back, and then heads out Savikko Rd, turns right on Front St, turns left on D St, turns right on 2nd St, follows 2nd St to near it’s end and then returns back to the shelter.
