Welcome to the 2026 running season with JTRR! We're excited to kick off another year of races, community and miles on the trails together. Our full season schedule is coming soon, so please check back regularly for updates and registration details. We look forward to seeing you out there!
East Glacier Trail Tangle – NAOC/JTRR

Join us on Thursday, June 11, 2026, for the East Glacier Trail Tangle!
Location: Powerline Trailhead at Gladstone
Start Time: 6:00 PM
Distances: 1 Mile or 4.9 Miles
Registration:

Fees:
• Adults: $15
• Youth (18 & under): $5
• JTRR members in good standing receive a $5 discount
Course:
• 4.9-mile course starts at the Powerline Trailhead, heads north around East Glacier Trail, up the stairs, and returns the same way
• 1-mile course will be run on the Powerline Trail
Parking:
Please park along Glacier Spur Road to avoid blocking neighborhood driveways.
Restrooms:
Nearest facilities are located at the bus parking lot and Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center.

Seacoast Marathon Relay – Saturday, June 13, 2026
​​
The Seacoast Relay is back and bigger than ever! This year’s course has been extended from 21.7 miles to a full marathon distance (26.2-ish miles), spread across five relay legs from the UAS campus to Eagle Beach Picnic Area.
Enjoy a beautiful point-to-point course, great teammates, costumes, good vibes, and a burrito bar waiting at the finish line. Teams and individual participants are welcome.

* The Nugget Alaska Outfitter Cup (NAOC) running series is co-sponsored each year by the Juneau Trail and Road Runners Club and Nugget Alaskan Outfitters. The points work as follows:

Runners must participate in at least three NAOC races to qualify for annual awards.

Races included in the series are designated with “NAOC” on the calendar.

Points count as follows in each division:
-
1st place, 10 points
-
2nd place, 9 pts.
-
3rd place, 8 pts.
-
etc. through 9th place, 2 pts.
-
All others, 1 point.
-

Awards are distributed at the annual meeting early the following calendar year.
